Nicholas Jicha, EMS Program manager, is pleased to announce a successful ETT/EMT class in partnership with the Workforce Development program. All students showed “great achievement and commitment,” according to Jicha, and have passed their exams. Three new ETTs and six new EMTs have now been certified for the Maniilaq Service Area!
“These students have opened up opportunities for themselves to progress in their careers, and to serve their communities in times of crisis. I was extremely impressed – every student showed up ready to learn and it was easy to feel the excitement after successful testing,” he said. The EMS program would like to give recognition and thanks to Workforce Development, under the direction of Madeline Gallahorn. Without their support, this class wouldn’t have been possible.
