Education & Experience:
Michael earned his initial Master of Science in Nursing - Education (MSN-E) degree from Western Governors University. He subsequently earned a Post Graduate Certificate as Family Nurse Practitioner from South University.

Prior to working at MHC, Michael worked as Clinical Care Coordinator at Bethesda Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida and as a nurse educator for various RN training programs. He worked as both staff and traveling nurse in ICU, ER, Telemetry, and PCU for many years and has been an RN for almost 30 years.

In addition to his duties as Radio Room and Outpatient provider, Michael teams with Dr. Robert Hernandez to cover the villages of Buckland and Deering.

Personal Interests:
A Texas native, Michael enjoys time with his grandkids, and splitting his time between his homes in Alabama and Florida.

Outside the clinic, he divides his time between his hobbies of stained glass, wood carving, carpentry and gardening.
