The Social Services department operates programs that support the cultural and traditional needs of tribal members and other individuals, helping to preserve the link between Iñupiat and their heritage. Social Services also provides a variety of social services, such as drug and alcohol-abuse programs, suicide prevention, and services for those in need of social and mental support.
